Meditation is something that I have done here and there over the last few years but I’ve never actually made it into a habit. So when one of my fabulous clients (check out her website Real Momma) mentioned she would like to start meditating more I jumped at the opportunity to join her. And since we are both connected to sharing life and it’s experiences with others, we decided to make it a public experience in hopes of not only supporting each other but others as well.
And what better day to kick off our commitment of 30 Days of Meditation than the first day of Spring! As things begin to shift in our environment so will things within ourselves.
Won’t you join us on our journey of truly implementing meditation into daily life? We would love to share in this experience with you! I believe the only way one will ever realize the full benefits of something is with continued, consistent and committed practice. And that’s what these 30 days are all about. It’s not about doing meditation “perfectly” or “right” because there is no absolute right or perfect way to meditate. It’s about calming your mind and your body, going within and connecting to your breath and your inner self. If you can commit to 5 minutes each day that’s great! If you would like to do more, go ahead and challenge yourself! This is your 30 Days of Meditation and you get to choose your plan of action.
Laura and I will be sharing our thoughts and experiences along the way and I encourage you to as well. It’s always nicer when doing something with a group of like-minded and supportive people.
Before I head outside to do my first meditation of the month I want to pass along a few things I came across online.
If you would like to read more about meditation in easy to understand words along with some videos I found this website How To Meditate. Their description of Why Learn To Meditate is definitely worth a quick and easy read.
And if you have never meditated before you may find this simple and short video helpful.
Wishing all of you a blissful Day 1 of your own personal Month of Meditation!
